Great food and a friendly staff.

Wow! What a gem to find after attending the common ground Fair. The food was home cooked with generous portions and reasonable prices. Service was awesome. Definitely a return to destination.

Best place ever waitstaff was so amazing had homemade hash and family had omelets great portions and cooked well we will revisit again

Really long waits, they messed up every part of everyone order. Very few options, would not go back again. Food was okay , what they gave us any way.If you order anything make sure you say every thing the menus say come with it. Or will not give you it.

Home style cooking, good food, reasonable prices.

Dropped by from out of state today and had the beef pot pie. The pie was really good and filling. Our waitress was extremely helpful and nice for the duration of our visit. The only thing I would change about the visit would be to skip the appetizer so I could have room for dessert. The inside of the building is nice.

For the area it offers very good food and selection. I think the prices run a little higher then normal but it's justified by the service and quality. They have a pretty solid breakfast & dinner menu with a variety of options. Staff are very friendly . Overall I like the breakfast menu over the dinner menu, and love the home made bread. If your in the area, it's worth the stop.

Wow this has been my favorite place ever! We were on our way back from Prince Edward Island and decided to go through the US .Not only was the drive so beautiful ,but the place was wonderfully decorated cozy rustic .warm . I just fell in love with it. Ill post more with pics and details soon

Tried Mammies for the first time. Got breakfast to go, homemade corned beef hash and cheese omelet was delicious! Very friendly and accommodating staff!

The food is wonderful, the atmosphere is very homey and peaceful. The wait staff is always friendly and they truly do wait on you hand and foot! I love meeting my friends there because we always have such a wonderful time.

I never comment but this is by far the best restaurant i have ever been to....the food is out of this world and i needed a truck to bring the leftovers home....happy you are the man..thanks for making my day great.

We had a wonderful meal there tonight! The fried clams were awesome! It was so nice to finally be able to go out and sit in a restaurant and have a meal.

Delicious homemade food from appetizers to desserts. Breakfast available all day! Restoration of old train/train freight station gives good ambience.

We traveled through from New York on our way to bar harbor. Place was really good, we ate outside on their deck...I ordered a burger and my boyfriend ordered the lobster sandwich and both were great. Both of us are snobs about our food and we’d definitely come back if we were in the area again. Service is fast and friendly.

I've only had breakfast here, but it's always great. Gluten free breads also.

We went for lunch because we heard how good the food was. We received our drinks but nobody came back to take our order. They were not busy. One waitress was talking to customers done with their meal for 15 minutes. The other waitress never came back. We left after 25 minutes. Felt totally ignored.

I've been there a few different times an they were good but this time its not the best I've had started of with something floating in my drink witch whatever it happens when we got our meals my steak was way to cooked an the French fries weren't cooked enough an the was a piece of paper on my fries the burger my dad got was way to cooked also. An the waitress wasn't that great either she never checked on us to see if we needed anything a refill for our drinks I don't no I hope they do something about this I'll prob give them one more chance an if it still sucked I just wont go back

Big PortionsVery nice place to dine, great for individual, couple, family or group.Its a little off the beaten path. However its a beautiful drive if your not pressed for time.Beautifully decorated inside, the outside is very rustic and charming.The restaurant is very clean and well cared for.The bathrooms are clean and well stocked as well.Large plates and portions.See pictures, all meals were cooked well and served hot.Haddock Chowder served with homemade bread is outstanding.Many homemade desserts to choose from.Menu items are reasonably priced.Service was great.We met the owner, very nice to chat with.

Had a wonderful brunch with Donna! Had the French strawberry and cream pancakes. Was very delicious. Breakfast served all day! Great idea!!

Perfect place to sit and "catch up"...good food, great service, more than reasonable prices. This is my go to place when I meet up with my friends that I haven't seen in a while. We can sit for hours and hours, and we never feel rushed to move it along, no matter if there's nobody else there or if the place is packed. Highly recommend

This is the place that I had the bad meal and mostly everything that I ordered was burnt it was not supposed to have been Jefferson scoop so sorry for that
